Okay this is going to be long, but I swear it's worth every word! I can say with 100% confidence; hiring Emily, Cherise and the Ponderosa Planning team was the best decision we made in our wedding planning process - HANDS DOWN. Basically every subsequent decision we made, was under Emily's thoughtful, creative and impeccable guidance.

When my partner and I got engaged, we had a strong shared idea of how we wanted our wedding to feel, and of the general aesthetic, but had no idea how to pull it off. Emily helped us hone in on our ideas, values and resources for the day to create a cohesive vision that felt so unique and special to us. She listened with support and enthusiasm to our preferences and concerns, and applied her very clever ideas and practical knowledge to plan and problem solve everything to the finest detail. She wasn't afraid to be direct with us when we needed it, but was always so kind, tactful and respectful in every conversation- she's also just super down-to-earth and fun to chat with!

When the day-of management for our wedding was handed off to Cherise, it was no different - these two are the perfect blend of professional and best friend energy! Cherise was INCREDIBLE at our rehearsal and the day of our wedding. She was so organized, resourceful, so much fun and I felt totally supported by her. (Also huge thanks to her lovely day-of assistant who literally helped me search through layers of my gown to find a bug that flew up my skirt, moments before I walked down the aisle LOL). Our wedding day came together in every way we had hoped! This is the absolute dream team of wedding planning!!
